Wise Owl October Annual Giving Campaign
What is the Wise Owl campaign?
The Wise Owl campaign is an essential fundraiser for our school community, which seeks to raise money through family donations. Along with the BoosterThon in February, it is the biggest way we generate funds to directly impact Irwin classrooms! Donations are used to purchase classroom materials, support teacher grants and travel, and are also used to support school improvement projects like the new water fountains. Let’s lessen the burden on our teachers, so they don’t spend their hard-earned money on classroom materials and also make Irwin a better facility. This year’s goal is to raise $10,000.
What donation amount is recommended?
Based on the annual PTA budget, these donation amounts are recommended:
$100 donation for Families with 1 Irwin student.
$150 donation for Families with 2+ Irwin students.
Of course these are just guidelines; we understand that not every family is able to give in these amounts. However, we are asking everyone to please give what they can!
If all 360+ Irwin families gave just $27, we would easily reach out goal.
Please consider giving to this campaign if you are able. The popcorn sales are another way to generate $100 by offering yummy treats for sale to friends and family. Also, if your company matches charitable contributions, please be sure to request that matching donation at this time too.
