Meeting began at 6:03 pm EST
40 PTA members attended meeting via zoom

• Administration overview-presented by Dr.  Ashford
  • Student population 388; projection was 460- loss students due to virtual school
  • Had to collapse 3rd grade classroom due to teacher and substitute shortage
  • Finishing up parent teacher conferences over the next 2 weeks
  • What’s next for testing
    • ELA assessments starting December 1st
    • MAP s January 10th-January 28-Winter MAP
    • K-3 Dibels is January 10th-February 1st
    • TD portfolio graded starting January 25-28
    • Finished TD testing for grades 2 and 3

• Wise Owl Campaign fundraising-presented by Breana Jeter
  • Total amount raised is $21,947
  • $13,572-online donations
  • $2,163-In-class (change)
  • $6,213- Popcorn

• 2021-2022 PTA Budget-presented by Kelly Clarkson
  • Balanced budget was shared with General Membership
  • Motion made by Kelly Clarkson and was seconded by Breana Jeter 
  • Motion passed unanimously 

• School related events
  • 7 Open Houses-hosting virtually
  • Early release days
  • School closed on Veterans Day

• PTA Events
  • Looking for Volunteer coordinator and Yearbook coordinator
  • Upcoming PTA Events
